Job Title: Senior Accountant
Department: General & Administration
Reports to: Accounting Manager
Education: BA/BS Degree or equivalent
Experience: 10+ years related experience

Scope
Hands on Accountant, in charge of all accounting functions. Previous work in a public company as well as start-up environment preferred.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 10 years accounting experience; CPA highly desirable.
• Knowledge, experience and ability to account for stock options (warrants, early exercise, etc.) and strong Fixed Asset background required.
• Proficient in use of accounting software (ERP system such as Oracle or SAP, Excel, Word)
• Strong accounting and analytical skills
• Diligent, self motivated and detail oriented
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with Quickbooks preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Perform multiple functions including A/R, G/L, fixed assets, FAS123R stock options, payroll processing and equipment lease line tracking.
• Backup for Accounts Payable.
• Conduct and coordinate monthly general ledger closing.
• Prepare journal entries and accounts reconciliations for cash, prepaids, fixed assets, payroll, loans, equity, intercompany charges and facility allocations.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate monthly financial close for multiple entities, including intercompany billings, and prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow.
• Distribution and analysis of departmental spending reports.
• Maintain capital asset tracking system and construction in progress projects.
• Prepare routine tax filings – property taxes, sales & use tax, etc.
• Coordinate and prepare year-end audit schedules.
• Develop process flows and desk procedures for all accounting functions.
